6GB is max for this configuration and Apple recommends 4GB.

The result was not an unstable system with crashes and such but it got really slow and “bath ball-y” in both 32 and 64K mode. All of the memory showed up in About this mac and System Profiler and all but I guess the system just tried and failed to allocate memory at addresses above 6GB.

So, the answer of wether 8GB works on this model is definitely No. 6GB seems to work just fine tho.

8GB is said to work on First Generation 2.66GHz and 2.93GHz configs and all Second Generation and later models.

"Xbox

It was really easy to understand and use. You only get one document though and it’s all javascript except for stuff you write under special comments like /* appjet:css */ for the stylesheet.

The persistant storage is automagic and all you need to do is create a new storable object and assign it to a variable in the storage object. I haven’t found out how to update records properly. Seems like you need to get, update, remove and add them again.

Conclusion: Great for prototyping!

Example:

if(!storage.notes){
 storage.notes = new StorableCollection();
}
storage.notes.add({text: "hello world",

Five finger gesture maybe? Or it could replace the four finger actions.

The up/down to show desktop/all app windows is useful but the left/right appswitching feels broken. I mean, swipe 4 fingers to get the appswitching interface on screen, and then what? The only way I can get something to happen is to switch to two fingers to scroll through the apps and then press space or return, or select app with one finger. If I need to press buttons on the keyboard I’d rather just cmd+tab. If i need to select apps with the pointer, I’d rather click the dock.

While I’m at it, a gesture to switch tabs in safari would be nice too. Three fingers does that in Adium. Actually, a key combination that switches tabs even when you are in a textbox would be nice.

update: Four finger click to activate app in the app switch interface. Hasn’t worked for me until just now thou. In the documentation they explain how to animate colors. On the main page for jQuery effects they hint that the file “effects.core.js” is needed, but I can’t find ANY instructions on HOW TO GET THE DAMN FILE! The only thing you can get from the download page is the main jQuery.js file. They also have links to svn repository, but what? They expect regular users to checkout and “build” jQuery?

I finally found a copy of the file by looking under the “View Source” tab for a demo…

To save you from pulling you’r hair out; Here it is!

Edit: As Jean-Marie Tinghir pointed out, the effects are in the UI bundle.
